Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom

CL Cleaning Cycle Required Low The letters CL appear on the display or a cleaning indicator light turns on after a set number of operating hours. View DR Long Drain Cycle Low Standing water is found in the ice storage bin, causing ice cubes to freeze together. View E1 Thermistor Failure Medium Cubes vary widely in size from cycle to cycle because timing is not temperature-based. View FL Water Flow Error Medium Ice cubes are undersized, hollow, or only partially formed. View HA High Ambient Temperature Medium The ice maker produces far fewer cubes per cycle than normal, or takes much longer between batches. View HI High Temperature High Previously made ice is melting, with water pooling in the bottom of the bin. View HP High Pressure High The unit stops making ice and the compressor shuts off. View LO Low Temp / Freezing Medium New ice is not being produced even though the unit is running. View LP Low Pressure High The ice maker produces far fewer cubes per cycle or the cubes are thin and malformed. View PF Power Failure Low The ice maker shows PF on its display or indicator after power returns. View
