Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom

F1 Temp Sensor Open Medium The convection bake or roast function refuses to start because temperature cannot be monitored. View F2 Sensor Short Circuit Medium The convection feature turns off as soon as it starts because the board reads an already-high temperature. View F3 Keypad Short Medium The magnetron activates without anyone intentionally pressing the start button. View F4 Humidity Sensor Fault Low Sensor-based cooking modes produce inconsistent results — food comes out too hot or still cold in the center. View F5 Control Board Fail High No buttons produce any response and the display may be dark or static. View F6 Keypad Error Medium The unit activates functions or beeps continuously as if buttons are being pressed. View F7 Convection Fan Fault Low Foods cook unevenly with hot spots because air is not circulating. View F8 Humidity Sensor Fail Low Auto-sensor programs like popcorn, reheat, and frozen entree produce inconsistent results. View F9 Door Switch Fault High Pressing Start has no effect even though the door is firmly closed and latched. View PF Power Failure Low The microwave shows PF on the display or the clock reverts to a default time. View SE Sensor Error Medium None of the auto-sensor cooking programs can be selected or used.
